following comments were made by the Chairperson of our recent Middle
States evaluation:
“At St. Mary Magdalen School, there is a
genuine partnership among the school, the parents, and the parish.
Parents are recognized and respected as the primary educators of their
children. The school builds upon and reinforces that relationship while
the school and parish together develop the Catholic nature of both the
home and the school environments.
Students learn the value of
their faith as well as the importance of stewardship and being true
followers of Jesus. Creativity and self-expression are encouraged as
means of developing in each individual the gifts received from God.
Although the faculty members share common philosophies about learning,
their instructional styles differ and provide students with a variety of
educational experiences. The faculty support and encourage the students,
even after those students are no longer part of their classes.”
