DANCING with the SMM Stars 2012 Gala

We’ve created a winner for
great entertainment, raising funds and having fun with a healthy dose of
competition. “Dancing with the SMM Stars” is a first for the parish
since it includes a show featuring thirteen of St. Mary Magdalen's very
own talented “Stars”. The dance stars will raise proceeds for the parish
by tapping their toes, shaking their hips and swirling across the floor
to the delight of hundreds of guests. Each “Star" dancer will be paired
with an experienced dance “Pro” in our community. The couples will
perform to collect dollar-value votes through your generous donations.
Proxy voting is available by smart phone or computer even before the
show's performance. So you don’t even have to see the live performance
in order to vote for your favorite dancer. The winner is determined by
YOUR VOTES!! The dancers are competing for our version of the coveted
“Mirror Ball Trophy” based on total donations earned and the audience’s
favorite the evening of the Gala.
This exciting event takes place at Drexelbrook on March 24th and is sure to be the event of the year. In addition to the competition, delicious food, open bar and dancing to the lively music of “The Philly Party Band”, the evening is sure to provide a unique and fantastic experience.
