GOD’S HOUSE IN OUR TIME I am happy to officially announce our plans to move ahead with realizing our dream. The Archdiocese has permitted us to begin our Capital Campaign. We reached $1.9 million in pledges and over $500,000.00 in cash. We are blessed with more good news. A number of our families, anxious to see us substantially exceed our goal, have gotten together, pooled their pledges, and offered a challenge to all of us. They have collectively committed $1,000,000 to the campaign – a stretch for each, and ask that as many other parishioners as possible help meet this challenge by also making ‘stretch’ commitments. They will match dollar for dollar – any family who commits $10,000 or more, and they will match 2 for 1 all pledges of $25,000 and higher. The $1,000,000 challenge is part of the $1.9 million I already announced as committed; this reflects my confidence that the challenge portion will be met. Our
Parish Kickoff will be on Saturday and
Sunday, May 1st starting at the 5:30 Mass with our
Children’s Choir. We will
have FOOD, FUN, AND GAMES FOR ALL in the Parish Center and outside to
celebrate BUILDING GOD’S HOUSE IN OUR TIME.
