Moms In Touch InternationalMany mothers find themselves "praying on the run" because they are so busy.  Many moms find that private time with God becomes hit and miss.  Many mothers feel that they are fighting an uphill battle trying to protect their children from the secular and morally declining society of today.   Moms In Touch answers these mothers with a call to prayer.  Moms In Touch is mothers and grandmothers meeting weekly to pray for their children and grandchildren and the schools they attend.  The SMM chapter of Moms In Touch is for moms of all students of SMM parish, preschool through college, attending all schools, public, private and home school.

Each Tuesday morning when school is in session, two or more moms meet for an hour in the Blessed Katherine Drexel room to pray for their children, their schools, teachers and staff.  This is an excellent opportunity for spiritual growth and learning to pray.  Conversational prayer or praying in one accord is the method of praying that is used.  One accord praying is agreeing together as directed by the Holy Spirit.  No one is ever forced into praying aloud, since praying silently in your heart as part of a group is still praying in one accord.

Today we especially  need to stand in the gap for our children through prayer as well as pray that our children will also stand boldly in their faith and make good choices.  Moms In Touch is a great way of doing just that!  SMM Moms In Touch provides support and encouragement to moms who carry heavy burdens for their children and is a positive support for our schools because it is made up of women who truly believe that prayer makes a difference!

SMM Moms In Touch is part of an international organization that would like to see mothers asking God to intercede for every school around the world and to have all the schools in the USA covered with prayer by the end of 2003!

"Pour out your heart like water before the face of the Lord... Lift up your hands toward Him for the lives of your children."
