RELIGIOUS EDUCATION
Saint Mary Magdalen Parish Religious Education Program (PREP) centers on developing deep spiritual values and the encouragement of the attitudes, understanding, and behaviors of a member of the Catholic community. Our goal is to help your child to reach Jesus: to
know that they are especially loved and valued by Christ.
Our catechetical programs begin in Grade 1 and extend to Grade 7. Students who complete this studies program are prepared to meet the initiation into the Catholic faith through the Sacrament of Confirmation. Families must be registered at St. Mary Magdalen to attend.

The 2023-24 Program Overview:
The current PREP format includes:

All students and their families are expected to attend the Mass they choose each weekend.

Classes are held in person for all grades.

We are beginning with the 9:30 a.m. Mass, then Sunday Classes for Sacramental years (2nd and 7th) occur in the school, and dismissal is at 11:45 a.m.

Monday classes are in the school from 5 to 6 p.m. for students in grades 1, 3, 4, 5, and 6.

A homeschool is an option for those who prefer that format.
